MSEC - Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established at Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College as quality sustenance measure. The IQAC has been constituted as per the recommendations of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC ensures the effective implementation of quality initiatives through continuous reviews and periodic meetings. The IQAC works towards attaining excellence in all academic and administrative endeavors of the institution.

Vision: To foster quality culture for achieving and sustaining institutional excellence

Mission:

(1)  To create quality consciousness and enhance through programmed action to improve the academic & administrative performance of the Institution.

(2) To systemize the measures and efforts towards achieving institutional excellence

Scope: To ensure quality measures for institutional functioning.

Composition of the IQACs: 

1. Chairperson: Head of the Institution
2. Teachers to represent all level (Three to eight)
3. One member from the Management
4. Few Senior administrative officers
5. One nominee each from local society, Students and Alumni
6. One nominee each from Employers /Industrialists/Stakeholders
7. One of the senior teachers as the coordinator/Director of the IQAC

Responsibilities:

• Develop Strategic Plan of the Institution 
• Identify quality benchmarks/parameters
• Facilitate and create learner-centric environment
• Faculty transformation to adopt participatory teaching - learning
• Review of feedback response (stakeholders) on quality
• Organize inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes 
• Documentation of activities leading to quality improvement
• Develop and maintain institutional database through MIS
• Prepare Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR)
