Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College (MSEC) was established by the IIET Society in 2001. This institution is a part of the prestigious KRS Group of Institutions which also includes the renowned IIET (Indian Institute of Engineering Technology) est. 1947 by our Founder Late Shri K.R.Sundararajan, the well-known Meenakshi College for Women and the more recently established Meenakshi Sundararajan School of Management. The institutions on the KRS Campus are known for the quality education they impart and their stringent levels of discipline. We have consistently outshone all our peers, not only in academics, but in co-curricular activities as well.

Since inception MSEC has shown consistent performance in academics and extra-curricular spheres. The management strives constantly to develop this institution into a “CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE” imparting Engineering education to young men and women, grooming their overall personality with the highest emphasis on ethical values and honing them to face the challenges of the industry and the nation at large.

N.Sandeep and B.Pranavamoorthy from B.E(EEE) 2005-2009 Batch won the 1st Prize at the Motorola Scholar Programme, Bangalore "Winners names on the Motorola Scholars Program website"   Ms.Nalinipriya, Ms.Darshini and Ms.Venkatalakshmi of Final IT have won 2nd prize at iTalent for the project "i5 Robot". Mr.Ramesh, Mr.Sudharshan and Mr.Vivek of 3rd IT have won 1st prize in "Robotics" event at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Leo club of IIET has won "The best LEO CLUB" award among over 30 Leo clubs in the region.   S.Ramesh, S.Nirmal Gandhi, Bhargav Prasanna have won first prize in the National level Technical Symposium conducted by Government College of Technology, CBE. N.S.Bharath Kumar and K.Arun Kishore of Final ECE have presented a paper titled "SENSE OF SIGHT" in the IEEE International conference held at Tharapur University, Patiala.
